The position holder will be responsible to:
- deploy, implement and follow the Business Unit QHSE action plan
- deploy, implement all measures and activities to protect and enhance employees' health and safety conditions (prevention of occupational health, reduction of accident risks)
- initiate and deploy all measures and activities to protect the environment and prevent property damage and business interruption; take actions to guarantee respect and reinforcement of the HSE policy within the Business Unit.
Furthermore, He/She - will act the voice of Customers in the Business Unit and serve as the Quality interface with all BU-Customers
- ensure that, from a Customer perspective and in accordance with the Group's Quality policy, all actions are taken within the Business Unit and are implemented in accordance with the Integrated Management System (SMART)
- train and support BU functional Managers and plants QHSE implementing SMART rules and tools
- lead BU project qualitiy teams across all relevant technical centers and ensure resources availability (quantity and quality) for the projects
- ensure deployment of methodologies and quality tools tailored to each customer
- Prepare and accompany internal and external audits, oversee follow-ups and actions plans
To be successful in this role the future position holder should have
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree with a preference for engineering or equivalent
- a sustainable track record of successful experience in a quality leadership role, or a combination of engineering and quality roles in an operations or development environment
- experience using automotive quality standards (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA) as well as VDA procedures and standards
- excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
- practical experience in root cause analysis using quality methods and tools (FTA, Root Cause Failure Analysis, 5Y, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to engage and motivate teams
