Drive Quality, Safety, and Operational Excellence

We are seeking a highly motivated Plant QHSE Leader to support Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives within our manufacturing operation. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement across production activities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills, a passion for operational excellence, and experience in automotive or advanced manufacturing environments.


 

Position Summary

The Plant QHSE Leader executes the quality systems and production processes while supporting customer requirements, risk management initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. This position partners closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to drive world-class quality performance and maintain compliance with industry standards.


 

Key Responsibilities

 

Quality Leadership

  • Monitor and improve product quality for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
  • Lead investigations and resolution of customer and supplier quality issues.
  • Coordinate containment, sorting, recovery, and corrective action activities.
  • Support product and process modifications and customer submissions.
  • Conduct process audits and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
  • Analyze warranty returns and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and improve control plans, FMEA documentation, and production quality standards.

 

Production & Operational Support

  • Participate in daily production meetings and quality reviews.
  • Support process qualification, product transfers, and launch activities.
  • Train production personnel on quality tools, methods, and standards.
  • Lead quality initiatives across manufacturing workshops and production areas.
  • Stop production or block shipments when customer risk has been identified.

 

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and risk management requirements.
  • Support operational risk assessments and inspections.
  • Promote a safe workplace and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Take action to stop unsafe conditions or activities that may endanger people, property, or the environment.

 

Qualifications

 

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in automotive quality standards, manufacturing quality systems and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of IATF and ISO standards
  • Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and problem-solving tools.
  • Experience conducting audits and managing corrective action plans.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Automotive Core Tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA
