About the Role

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Howell, MI

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

We’re seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are met, and support a safe, high‑performance work environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem‑solving, coaching teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Production leadership — Oversee daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and output goals
• Team supervision — Lead, train, and evaluate production employees across assigned shifts
• Process improvement — Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions using lean or similar methodologies
• Safety compliance — Enforce safety standards and conduct regular audits
• Quality control — Monitor product quality and partner with QA to resolve issues
• Reporting — Track KPIs, downtime, labor usage, and daily production metrics

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or related environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement tools
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment

Preferred

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Background in automotive, plastics, or metal fabrication manufacturing
