JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for ordering equipment and parts for Engineering and Maintenance departments. Maintain inventory for the Maintenance Departments via SAP. Using SAP to track all machinery and tooling work orders and P.M. schedules. Assisting Machine Maintenance with monthly PM’s.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Obtain quotes and enter purchase requisitions into SAP for approval.
- Once req is approved and converted to a PO, send PO out to supplier to kick off order.
- Track when ordered parts are due in and once delivered notify appropriate people and enter parts into SAP inventory if applicable.
- Enter Mold and Machine information for all new and transfer programs into SAP for the purpose of tracking and PM’s.
- Entering detailed Work Order information, maintain equipment and tooling records into the SAP.
- Controls inventory of all maintenance supplies.
- Assist Machine Maintenance Group by performing monthly PM’s.
- May be asked to pick up items at suppliers for items needed immediately.
- Maintain the critical equipment parts list.
- Provide Engineering Manager with monthly reports on PM’s and machine downtime.
- Responsible for labeling chemical containers with HMIS labels for our Hazardous Communicates Program and submission of the New Chemical Review Form for all new chemicals entering the building.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

- Effective time management and planning skills.
- High School diploma or General Education Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
- Self-motivated, assertive and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented, strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong working knowledge of personal computer system (e.g. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.) SAP knowledge preferred.
