Bonding :

Bonding is a key technology within Novares due to the design possibilities, functional integration and clean assembly it offers compared to standard processes. This is the right answer to our innovation strategy, with the development of new components for the electric powertrain (batteries, etc...) or the integration of new attractive functionalities and connectivity solutions in our leading applications.

Working with the six Novares BUs and eight skill centers, the Bonding Expert is part of the Manufacturing central organization within the Novares Group.

Main Missions

 

As a central expert of bonding in Novares,

- During the RFQ and Development phases, he/she delivers his expertise to the project core-teams, in order to meet customer expectations at controlled cost (technical adhesives and process specifications, suppliers management, delivery of technical/economical analysis, new process commissioning with plant manufacturing, …)

- In Serial life, he/she supports the manufacturing engineering teams in addressing production efficiency, quality, cost and continuous improvement issues to achieve industrial excellence.

- Through his mastery of the science and know-how in his field, he/she ensures Novares' knowledge and expertise in these areas and their development. As such, he/she develops, implements and enforces standards and guidelines. He/she ensures the dissemination of technical expertise within Novares by assessing the technical population and delivering training modules to sites and skill centers.

- He/she develops innovation Projects with Skill Centers teams and manages his/her innovation road map. Has a strong capacity to benchmark and identify new technologies.

- He/she develops networking around his/her field of expertise internally and externally, through open innovation with industrial partners or institutes.

Abilities

Main Skills.

- 5 -8 years of experiences within a process industry, in Adhesives technologies, materials and process, with knowledge in industrialization.

- Knowledge of the automotive industry context is valued.

- English professional.

- Communication and leadership, able to work in multipole contacts worldwide.

- Curious about emerging technologies

- Open to travel within Novares network.
