Purpose

Sell our innovation programs: understand our customer needs and / or propose our solutions

 

As a Business Development Manager, your Main Missions will be the following.

  • Develop new activities with our clients (new products range) and Develop new clients
  • Develop businesses by answering clients RFQ
  • Define targets prices
  • Build best selling prices respecting Group financial criteria
  • Develop / secure commercial relationship with clients

 

Responsibilities in terms of QSEP

Use and follow processes, instruction sheets and appendices and propose improvements.

Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with safety and environmental protection instructions.

Respect safety rules of other departments (laboratory, plants, etc.).

 

Abilities

  • Team management : Leading the quoting team to achieve all RFQ goals within the given constraints.
  • Negotiation skills : Holding the knowledge of when to compromise and when to offer firm solutions to persuade customers, Knowing how to win customer trust and commitment. Closing deals. Tactful and diplomatic at all times.
  • Business intelligence : Gaining insights and a deep understanding of the market.
  • Communication skills : Active listening, understanding, and asking questions to provide appropriate solutions to the customer. Nurturing relationships with cutomers, prospects.
  • Leadership : Influencing, or guiding other individuals, teams.
  • Sales : Identifying growth opportunities and following up on them, Monitoring RFQs and moving them through the sales cycle. Familiar with cost analysis, cost break downs piece price and tooling.
  • Analytical thinking : Problem solving skills.Ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Organisation : Strategic planning, Multi-tasking, Adapting to change in situations
