Novares is looking for a  Logistic Leader (M/F), located in WALWORTH-2 W2-PL.

Finality

Participate in production and lead the Autonomous Flow Team (EAF), helping it to achieve its QCDSM objectives, ensure the distribution of operational and general information to relevant personnel and the clear communication of instructions between teams

Main Missions

1 - Lead and ensure production
- Manage flow: incoming flow, internal flow or outgoing flow
- Manage replacements and/or replace a member of the team at the station
- Plan logistics based on kanban, launch operations, customer pull lists
- Manage packaging movements in customer systems
- Lead the team and coordinate their missions to meet objectives
- Detect and solve common problems inherent to the job and ensure the correct solution is chosen
'- Have by delegation, the authority to stop the expeditions in order to correct the quality problems
- Implement the corrective action plans associated and alert his/her hierarchy

2 - Organise and schedule the activity of his/her Autonomous Flow Team
- Assign forklift truck operators
- Listen to and take into account the expectations of customers (internal/external)
- Update Autonomous Production Team indicators
- Monitor presence/absence and team training
- Manage team administration (explain and train as required)
- Coordinate the scheduling of holidays for the Autonomous Flow Team

3 - Coordinate and lead team activities
- Ensure the clear communication of instructions
- Lead TOP5 meetings
- Organise the transmission of instructions between Autonomous Flow Teams
- Provide and monitor the training of new employees
- Report any problems to his/her line manager

4 - Facilitate progress
- Carry out curative/preventive actions
- Take part in working groups
- Encourage suggestions, help to process them

5- Prepare orders
- Print, account for and approve pre-delivery bills
- Check deliverable stock electronically
- Calculate lorry routes to better distribute goods
- Physically prepare orders and conduct all required checks
- Update electronic records
- Affix labels to containers and conduct all required checks
- Print delivery notes and destination labels (GALIA)
- Physically count cycles
- Load and unload lorries
- Carry out reconditioning operations
- Send shipping notices as required
- Manage late deliveries as required
- Supervise the compliance of shipments in terms of quantity and deadline

6 -Receive and prepare productions
- Unload and check (DN/quantities) goods from suppliers
- Take samples for the Quality Department
- Enter received stock electronically and assign it an internal batch number
- Store goods in defined storage areas
- Create delivery note and load: goods for our subcontractors, ground materials, used pallets for our supplier returns
- Make components available for manufacture by applying the FIFO principle
- Fill in the GPAO concerning material and component assignments on the MO
- Supply presses with raw materials and colourant
- Physically return raw materials and components to storage after manufacture
- Fill in the GPAO for material and component returns on the MO
- Supervise compliance with quantity received and deadline and the management of the raw materials and component store
- Manage box/bag/pallet orders
- Manage the delivery schedule and requests concerning the removal of products from the platform

Essential job functions

Abilities

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and remain standing for extended periods of time are both important
- Record-keeping, tracking shipping and receiving data and updating inventory 
- Written and verbal communication with team members and management to resolve customer issues and answer questions
