Novares is looking for its Finance department his/her future Site Financial Controller (M/F), located in WALWORTH W1-PL.


- Realize the management control of the activities of his perimeter (elaboration of the budgets and forecast and to follow the realization; checks performances; etc. ...) 
- Set up the adequate tools 
- Be the mainspring in the piloting of activities 
- Participate in the consolidation of the accounts of the Group 
- Guarantee the reliability and the application of the procedures and the standard of Management Groups

NB: the possible perimeters(scopes) are A - operational management control (production unit, skill center / technical center, functions support...), B Corporate financial control, C – consolidation


Main Missions

1 (A, B, C) - Prepare the states of management and reporting of his/her perimeter(scope):
- (B, C) Prepare the consolidation of the financial and projected data and the operational indicators of his/her perimeter(scope), with the frequency defined by the Financial Direction(Management) resting on the data and the analyses of the intermediate landings, check input data
- (A, B, C) Develop synthesis documents and filess of reportings of his/her perimeter in association with the financial and operational teams
- (B, C) Assist the financial and operational teams in the elaboration and the understanding of their financial data, reporting and forecasts
- (B, C) Participate in the improvement of the tools of consolidation and reporting under the responsibility of Consolidation and financial Manager

2- (A, B) Participate in the piloting of the activities of his/her perimeter at the economic and financial level and is the mainspring in the infringement of the performances and the improvement of the procedures
 - Participate and coordinate the whole budgetary control process of his/her perimeter and recommends improvements in coordination with the financial and operational teams
 - verify the reliability and the relevance of the various indicators and the tools of his/her perimeter according to the standards Group 
- Proceed to all the analyses allowing the identification of the axes of progress and any measures to improve the financial situation of his/her perimeter and the Group
- Bring to his/her manager and to the operational the elements of analysis necessary for the piloting of activity 
- Analyze the evolution of the results comparing with the budgets, look for the causes of gaps and recommend improvements in coordination with the interlocutors of his/her perimeter as well as with his/her manager and operational members
3 - (B, C) Animate the management control activity 
- Support BU and local controllers in terms of management tools
- Assist the operational persons in charge and departments for the preparation of their budgets 
- Ensure the narrow and constant coordination with the accounting services
4 - (A, B, C) Participate in the harmonization of the procedures and guarantee the respect for the group standards 
- Makes sure that the Group procedures are respected 
- Formalize and update the processes of his/her perimeter
5 - (A, B, C) Participate in the management / relations with the auditors and the outer partners on his/her scope of responsibility
6- (A, B, C) Assist as and whenever necessary the Internal auditor in his/her missions of magazine of the procedures
7- (A, B, C) Propose, in his/her perimeter of responsibility, improvements and harmonizations of so necessary procedures, in association with operational concerned under the responsibility of his/her hierarchical manager


- Supports the Plant Director and first line of the site on financial KPI processes and results
- Is acting as a Key player for the improvements of the financial results of the entity  
- According to the Novares organization, is in charge of the full PNL 

Essential job functions


- Facilitate positive relationships and communications between departments and key stakeholders (conducting and attending meetings, rounding, having one-to-one communications) and generally being visible and accessible to team members
- Demonstrate synthesis spirit and analytical skills to recommend improvements and ability to manage and develop his/her team
- Maintain confidentiality and follow safe working procedures
